Friedman Firm Spotlight: Ed Timmons

Meet Ed Timmons, VP of Operations at Moore Marsden Experts, and valued member of the Friedman Firm. His entrepreneurial skillset and thirst for knowledge have made him an asset to the company, where he focuses on Business Process Management. Ed’s talent for quickly understanding different industries and identifying inefficiencies has helped the Friedman Firm to exponentially grow. He’s able to use the information he expertly gathers to create new product offerings, and implement new technologies, which then enhances Moore Marsden Experts’ customer satisfaction. With his entrepreneurial skills and love for learning, Ed is always engaged in his career and appreciated tremendously by the Friedman Firm.

Despite dropping out of high school, Ed didn't let that deter him from achieving his goals. He worked hard to obtain his associate degree from Crafton Hills, where he graduated with distinction. Ed later transferred to Cal Baptist and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a bachelor's degree in business and a minor in management. With his previous experience as an operations manager at Amazon, he launched a new robotic fulfillment center, building a team from scratch.

Now, Ed is finishing his Master of Science in Entrepreneurship and Innovation from CSUSB, a Top 50 program in the nation. He recently won first place at the Sunstone Startup Launch Competition, competing against some of the world's best business programs in the heart of Silicon Valley and earning his team a sweet $25,000. Ed's remarkable talent and education showcase the abundance of skills and potential that can be found within the Inland Empire.

Ed encourages companies to seek out people with an entrepreneurial mindset like him. He believes that enabling individuals with this skillset can bring value to the organization, and their contributions far outweigh the cost of capital. Moore Marsden Experts saw Ed's potential and jumped at the opportunity to recruit him directly from the School of Entrepreneurship at CSUSB.

The Friedman Firm has called the Inland Empire home since its inception, and it comes as no surprise that our VP of Operations, Ed Timmons, shares the same unwavering passion. He has a deep desire to see the area thrive and flourish economically, and he strongly believes that there are endless opportunities for growth and development. His dedication to making the Inland Empire a better place is a testament to his character, and the Friedman Firm is proud to have him on our team. Together, we will continue to work towards creating a brighter future for San Bernardino, the surrounding area, and its residents.
